Netflix Sets to Release Documentary on Iconic Music Band, The Bangles

Netflix is preparing to unveil a brand-new music documentary that will spotlight one of the most iconic female bands of the 1980s: The Bangles. Known for their timeless hits like “Manic Monday,” “Eternal Flame,” and “Walk Like an Egyptian,” The Bangles played a pivotal role in shaping pop-rock music with their signature harmonies, catchy hooks, and unapologetically female perspective during a male-dominated era of rock.

The upcoming documentary, which is currently in post-production, promises to offer fans and music enthusiasts an intimate look at the band’s journey from the early club scene in Los Angeles to becoming global chart-toppers. Netflix has yet to announce the official title and release date of the documentary, but early reports suggest that it will debut in the second half of 2025.
