Jett Lawrence on some US fans not liking him winning

As usual, Jett Lawrence pulls no punches! While talking to SMX media in the pre-season press conference Jett said he prefers to win and not be liked by American fans because he’s foreign than lose and be liked.

Jett of course has a huge fan base in the States but there are always a few who won’t be on board and he isn’t going to change for them – good to hear!

A fired up Jett said:

“The one thing they are getting pissed off about is that I’m winning and beating everyone and beating their Americans. To make them happy would be to stop winning, but sadly enough, I can’t do that, that’s not in my blood. I came to the conclusion if they are going to hate me they are going to hate me. You speak bad of me I have zero time and tolerance for you.”

On his mentality coming into this year compared to his rookie season last year, Jett said:

“Surprisingly it’s kinda the same, back then I wanted to smash these guys and destroy them and it’s still the same now.”

Never change Jett!
