Team USA riders Eli Tomac, Aaron Plessinger, and Cooper Webb have shared their reactions to the 2024 Motocross of Nations (MXoN), reflecting on the challenges and excitement of representing their country in one of motocross’s most prestigious events. As veterans of the sport, each rider expressed their pride and determination in competing against the world’s best while aiming to bring home the Chamberlain Trophy for the U.S.
Eli Tomac, who stepped in to replace the injured Chase Sexton, acknowledged the pressure but embraced the opportunity. “It’s always an honor to represent Team USA, and I’m excited to be back at MXoN,” Tomac said. “I know the competition will be fierce, but I’m feeling strong and ready to give it everything. It’s all about putting together solid rides and staying consistent. We’ve got a great team, and we’re here to win.”
Aaron Plessinger, known for his infectious energy and positive attitude, emphasized the camaraderie and shared goal of victory. “Being part of Team USA is something special. There’s no other feeling like it,” Plessinger said. “The team spirit is high, and we’re all pushing each other to perform at our best. I’m ready to lay it all on the line for my country and for my teammates. It’s going to be an epic battle, and we’re prepared to give the fans a show.”
Cooper Webb, another veteran and two-time AMA Supercross champion, highlighted the significance of the event and the determination to bring the trophy back to the U.S. “The Motocross of Nations is a race we all dream of winning, and we’ve got our sights set on that goal,” Webb stated. “We’re focused, and I’m confident in our chances. It’s going to take everything we’ve got, but we’re ready to fight for it.”
With Tomac, Plessinger, and Webb leading the charge, Team USA is poised for a strong showing at the 2024 MXoN, with hopes of reclaiming their spot at the top of the motocross world.
