“Date Announced for Netflix Documentary on Guns N’ Roses on…”

Netflix has announced a highly anticipated documentary on the legendary rock band Guns N’ Roses, set to premiere in March 2025. This film promises an in-depth exploration of the band’s tumultuous journey to stardom, their highs and lows, and their lasting impact on the music industry.

Titled Guns N’ Roses: The Ultimate Rock Bond with AC/DC, the documentary will feature exclusive interviews with band members Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan, as well as AC/DC’s Angus Young and Brian Johnson. The film will also include rare archival footage, live performances, and behind-the-scenes moments that showcase the enduring friendship and musical chemistry between the two bands. The documentary is being produced by a team of award-winning filmmakers, including director Marty Callner (Guns N’ Roses: Use Your Illusion) and producer Scott McFadyen (AC/DC: No Bull) .

In addition to the Netflix series, fans can also enjoy The Brothers – Celebrating The Allman Brothers Band 50th Anniversary, a special concert that aired on PBS stations beginning August 31, 2024. This performance features surviving members of the band, including Jaimoe, Warren Haynes, Derek Trucks, Oteil Burbridge, and Marc Quinones, along with special guests like Reese Wynans, Duane Trucks, and Chuck Leavell. The concert, recorded at Madison Square Garden in 2020, celebrates 50 years of the band’s music and includes classic hits such as “Statesboro Blues,” “No One to Run With,” “Midnight Rider,” “Trouble No More,” “Melissa,” and “Come and Go Blues” .
