To my Dallas Mavericks family, the fans, my teammates, and everyone who has supported me along the way, this is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. I’ve spent so much of my life here in this incredible city, wearing this jersey, representing this team, and playing with all of you. Today, as I say goodbye, my heart is full of gratitude and emotion.
From the first day I arrived, I never imagined how much this city and this organization would mean to me. You welcomed me with open arms, and you’ve been with me every step of the way. From my rookie season to all the highs and the lows, I’ve felt your energy, your passion, and your love. Every game, every moment on the court, I played not just for myself, but for all of you who have supported me, who have cheered for me, and who have believed in me even when things weren’t perfect.
The relationships I’ve built here will last a lifetime. I’m grateful to my teammates, past and present, who have helped me grow as a player and as a person. You are all like family to me, and I will always cherish the memories we’ve shared. To the coaching staff and everyone behind the scenes, thank you for your trust and your commitment to pushing me to be my best.
But most of all, I want to thank the fans. You made me feel at home from the very beginning. The energy you bring to every game, the support you show every season, it’s something I’ll never forget. Dallas will always have a special place in my heart. I will forever carry the lessons I’ve learned here with me, no matter where I go.
This is not the end, just a new chapter in my journey. I will always be rooting for the Mavs, and I know you’ll continue to support the team with all your heart. Thank you for everything, Dallas. I will miss you all more than words can say.
