“Jaw-Dropping Moment Shakes Football World! Unbelievable Incident Sends Shockwaves Through the Game!”
After Just Kluivert’s early opener for Cherries, Hudson-Odoi produced a fine finish to level scores heading into the break.
However, neither side could find a winner in a dull second period, the major flashpoint of the final 45 Billing’s red card for an agricultural challenge on Hudson-Odoi in the 84th minute.
Billing attempted to halt a Forest counter attack by taking out Hudson-Odoi with a trip, but instead caught the back of the winger’s heels.
Unfortunately for Hudson-Odoi, the Dane connected with his Achilles, to which he has suffered two major injuries to in the past.
However, the Forest player believes he is not hurt following the challenge.
He told Forest’s social media: “I should be good in a couple of days, 100 per cent.
“It was just more of an impact thing.
“I think more of the fact that he just came straight down my Achilles.
“It was just a bit painful at the time.
“It was more the fact that I couldn’t really run it off.
“I tried to and I’m just like, ‘you know what? I don’t want to just risk and make it even worse.’ “It’s going to be better, hopefully in a couple of days.
“It was just more of a horrific tackle, really.”
Describing his goal, Hudson-Odoi continued: “The ball came out to me obviously, when I won the ball, and I just saw that angle there, and I said, ‘you know what? If I hit it perfectly, hopefully it will go in.’
And it did. So delighted with the goal.
“I feel like that shot there is always a nice one.
“I think when you get it right, it always has an opportunity of going in.
“That was a nice one to get, obviously for myself as well for and for the team.
“But it’s one of those ones where you want to try and get another one to help the team or even get an assist.
“But just unfortunately it didn’t happen.”
After picking up at point at Vitality Stadium, Forest are now 16th in the Premier League table, six points behind Cherries in 12th place.
Forest are next in action on Wednesday evening, when they host Bristol City in a fourth round FA Cup replay.
