Liverpool is pushing to sign this star player for £51.7million

Liverpool is making a strong push to secure the signing of a star player for the sum of £51.7 million.

Liverpool boasts one of the Premier League’s top attacks, yet uncertainty looms over Salah’s future while Jota remains sidelined. Klopp aims to bolster the department’s quality and depth, with Donyell Malen’s name surfacing as a potential addition, as the Reds continue their pursuit of the Dortmund attacker.

In September, Sport Bild disclosed Klopp’s keen interest in bringing the Dutch international to Anfield, estimating a potential cost of around 60 million euros (£51.7 million).

More recent reports from Bild highlight Klopp’s persistent pursuit of the attacker to bolster Liverpool’s offense. According to the renowned German outlet, a significant development in the transfer saga indicates Malen’s recent change in representation from Raiola’s agency to the Dutch agency, SEG, potentially paving the way for Liverpool to secure his signature.

The 24-year-old, previously with PSV Eindhoven, primarily operates as a right winger but possesses versatility across various offensive roles. Last season at Borussia Dortmund, he notched nine goals and seven assists in 26 Bundesliga appearances.

In the current campaign, the winger with 28 international caps has scored four goals in nine league starts. Malen’s contract at Signal Iduna Park runs until the summer of 2026. Do you believe he justifies a £51.7 million price tag?
