Michael Byrne Confirms Jett Lawrence is Set to Compete in Open Class at Hampshire for MXoN 2024

Jett Lawrence is set to ride in the Open class at the Motocross of Nations (MXoN) 2024, with the prestigious event taking place at the Hampshire track. Lawrence, who has been in exceptional form this season, will represent Australia alongside his brother, Hunter Lawrence, who will compete in the MXGP category. The Australian team will also feature Kyle Webster in the MX2 class, marking his return to the MXoN stage for the first time since 2019.

Australian team manager Michael Byrne, a former MXoN representative himself, is approaching the competition with cautious optimism. Byrne, now based in the U.S., understands the unpredictable nature of this iconic event.

“One thing I’ve learned about the Motocross of Nations over the years is that it doesn’t give out its rewards easily,” Byrne said, reflecting on the challenges the Australian team will face.

As the Lawrence brothers prepare to take on some of the world’s best riders, the anticipation for Australia’s performance continues to build. With a well-rounded team and Jett leading the charge in the Open class, fans are hopeful for a strong showing on the global stage.
