Netflix to Release New Documentary on Influential Post-Punk Band Bauhaus

Netflix has announced the upcoming release of a new original documentary centered on the iconic English post-punk band Bauhaus. Titled Bauhaus: The Complete Story, the film will explore the band’s legacy, influence on gothic rock, and their lasting impact on underground music and fashion.

Formed in Northampton in 1978, Bauhaus is widely credited with pioneering the gothic rock genre, thanks to their haunting atmospheres, stark visual aesthetic, and breakout single “Bela Lugosi’s Dead.” The documentary promises rare archival footage, exclusive interviews with band members Peter Murphy, Daniel Ash, David J, and Kevin Haskins, as well as commentary from music historians and artists influenced by their work.
