Nottingham Forest is eager to transfer out Divock Origi during the final week of the January transfer window, as sources reveal to Football Insider. The 28-year-old, on loan from AC Milan, has had limited appearances under Nuno Espirito Santo and is not part of the future plans. Forest is actively working to offload the Belgian international before the upcoming transfer deadline on February 1, with AC Milan needing to cancel his Forest deal for a move to materialize.
The forward at Nottingham Forest is reportedly earning over £100,000 per week. Divock Origi, who joined from AC Milan, has made only nine appearances in the 2023-24 season and hasn’t featured in any matchday squad in 2024. Despite initial reports of an option-to-buy in the agreement with AC Milan, Origi is now poised for a move elsewhere following a lackluster two years since departing Liverpool on a free transfer. His goal tally was limited to just two in 36 games during his last season with AC Milan.
The adaptable forward accumulated an impressive record of 41 goals and 18 assists in 175 appearances for Liverpool across various competitions. Origi achieved success on Merseyside, winning the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, and League Cup during his time with the club.
