The Telegraph have claimed that Chelsea would be willing to sell Tottenham target Trevoh Chalobah for £25m this summer.
Chalobah was out with an injury for the majority of the campaign but the centre-back has been excellent since returning to full fitness in February, having finished the season strongly.
The Telegraph claim that the Blues are now braced for offers for their academy graduate this summer in light of his impressive displays over recent months.
The report says that Spurs, Bayern Munich and Nottingham Forest all showed interest in Chalobah during last summer’s transfer window but the move did not materialise in the end.
Trevoh Chalobah could be sold for just £25m
The outlet points out that Spurs are still after a new central defender and could turn their attention to the Chelsea man over the coming weeks.
The publication adds that while Chalobah will not push for a move away from Stamford Bridge, the Blues would be willing to sell him for £25m as the sale would help the club’s PSR situation.
Spurs Web Opinion
Chalobah would be a very tempting option for Tottenham as he is a good fit for Postecoglou’s system, homegrown and relatively inexpensive. The fact that he can also operate as a right-back would appeal to Spurs, who need to sign a backup for Pedro Porro.
