Tadej Pogačar is preparing to lead UAE Team Emirates at Il Lombardia, with a strong support squad revealed as he seeks to close out what he has called a “perfect season” with a third consecutive victory in the prestigious race. The Slovenian star will rely on a mix of experienced riders and powerful domestiques to help him navigate the challenging course of the final Monument of the season.
Pogačar’s team includes key climbers and all-rounders such as Marc Soler and Davide Formolo, both of whom have been instrumental in supporting his successes throughout the year. Soler, known for his aggressive riding and ability to control the race in mountainous terrain, will be crucial on the hilly route of Il Lombardia. Formolo, an experienced Italian rider, brings both local knowledge and tactical expertise, which could prove vital in the decisive moments of the race.
