Today was crazy,” said Cooper Webb after an eventful race, praising Team USA’s efforts during the World Supercross round. Despite tough conditions, Webb managed to secure a podium finish and expressed both satisfaction and disbelief at the challenging nature of the event. “I’m pleased with my podium finish, but the track conditions and the entire event were crazy. It felt like everything was thrown at us today.”
Webb, known for his gritty determination and ability to thrive under pressure, highlighted just how tough the race was. The challenging track, coupled with unpredictable weather, created a demanding environment for the riders. “The track was gnarly,” he said, referencing how the ever-changing conditions made it difficult for the riders to maintain a smooth flow. “There were ruts and bumps everywhere, and you had to stay focused every second. One mistake could cost you the race.”
Praising Team USA’s performance, Webb was quick to acknowledge the collective effort that contributed to their strong showing. “I’m really proud of the team. Everyone fought hard today, and we stuck together through the chaos,” Webb said. The American squad, which featured some of the top riders in the world, has been a dominant force in international competition, and their teamwork was evident throughout the event.
Webb also gave a special mention to his fellow countryman and longtime rival, Eli Tomac. “With Tomac, of course, the competition is always fierce. He’s a legend, and every time you line up next to him, you know you have to give it your all.” Webb’s respect for Tomac was clear, as the two have shared countless battles on the track over the years.
While Webb celebrated his podium finish, his mind was already on the next race. “It was a crazy day, but I’m glad I came out of it with a solid result. Now, it’s time to regroup, work on a few things, and come back even stronger next time.” His relentless pursuit of excellence continues, as he remains a key contender in the global supercross scene.
