“Unbelievable Transfer Bombshell: Premier League Giants Closing in on £10m Defensive Sensation!”
The Blades are desperate to bolster their defense ahead of a crucial five-game period that is set to make or break the campaign. Chris Wilder will see all five games as a chance at points, with the likes of Luton, Palace, and Wolves all included in the run.
However, Wilder wants new signings to help, and according to a report from TeamTalk, the Blades boss really wants Worrall signed.
Sheffield United are hoping to agree to a permanent deal for Joe Worrall.
According to the report from TT, United and Forest are locked in negotiations over a deal to bring Worrall to Bramall Lane.
As it stands, Forest do not want to loan the experienced defender out and would prefer a permanent deal to help them with their FFP situation. Worrall, as we know, counts as a homegrown player, and any income made on him is pure profit for the club.

It’s claimed that United and Forest would be willing to do business over a permanent deal for Worrall and that, at the moment, discussions are ongoing over a suitable fee.
United are thought to be hopeful of concluding a deal before next week’s deadline passes.
Quite what the price will be remains to be seen. Forest have previously looked to get around £10 million for the 27-year-old, but it would be a huge surprise to see the Blades pay that.
Worrall, who was lauded by Steve Cooper as ‘incredible’ previously, could well come in as either a replacement or as a partner for Anel Ahmedhodzic. The Bosnian is attracting the attention of Napoli and Atalanta in Italy.
Meanwhile, United continue to be linked with a move for Ben Godfrey, while Everton teammate Mason Holgate is another player of interest.
United, then, look set for a busy end to the January window.
