Who Is Brock Purdy’s Fiancée? All About “Purdy’s girl”

Since his NFL journey began, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy has consistently found support in his fiancée, Jenna Brandt, who has been a steadfast presence in his life both on and off the field.

In the realm of NFL partnerships, Brock Purdy, the quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers, finds unwavering support from his fiancée, Jenna Brandt. Their journey began amidst the collegiate fields, where Purdy showcased his football prowess at Iowa State University while Brandt excelled as a setter on the volleyball team. Though their paths diverged when Brandt transferred to the University of Northern Iowa in 2021, destiny brought them back together, culminating in their engagement in July 2023.

Brandt’s steadfast encouragement has been a constant throughout Purdy’s NFL odyssey, especially during challenging times such as when he was dubbed “Mr. Irrelevant” as the last pick in the 2022 NFL draft. However, Purdy defied the odds and silenced the doubters when he stepped up to the plate after injuries sidelined the 49ers’ starting quarterbacks, Trey Lance and Jimmy Garoppolo. Making his mark in NFL history, Purdy clinched victory in his debut start by defeating the legendary Tom Brady and the formidable Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The next season, the quarterback ultimately led the 49ers to the 2024 Super Bowl in Las Vegas. When the Niners clinched their spot in the coveted game in January, Brandt congratulated her fiancée on the field. “The BEST feeling. God is good – all the time,” she captioned a photo and video of the pair embracing after the win.

Brandt was there to cheer on Purdy during his first-ever Super Bowl appearance, though the 49ers were ultimately defeated by the Kansas City Chiefs in overtime.

She is a young and athletic woman

Brandt was born on Oct. 26, 1999, and grew up in Sumner, Iowa, with her parents, Kevin and Amy Brandt, as well as her three siblings — Kaylyn, Isaiah and Morgan.

She attended Sumner-Fredericksburg High School, where she played on the volleyball team all four years and was a two-time team captain. Brandt also competed in track and field and played on a club volleyball team.

At the start of her senior year, she committed to Iowa State University’s volleyball team and graduated from high school in 2018.

She’s very close with her family

Brandt hails from a closely-knit family, frequently featured on her Instagram, showing their strong bond. She emphasizes the importance of spending quality time with her parents and siblings, citing them as a significant factor in her decision to attend Iowa State University.

“Familial connections mean the world to me. Bonding with my loved ones is top priority,” Brandt expressed in a video introduction for her Iowa State team. She also highlighted her passion for community service, stating, “Giving back to the community is something I deeply value.”

She and Purdy attended Iowa State together

Following her high school graduation, Brandt embarked on her collegiate journey at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, where she pursued a major in Kinesiology. Coincidentally, during the same period, Purdy also pledged his commitment to Iowa State, marking the beginning of their parallel journeys as freshmen. Although the specifics of their initial encounter remain undisclosed, it’s plausible that their paths intertwined amidst the bustling campus life.

She was a competitive volleyball player while at ISU

Brandt’s journey in football continued through her college years as a quarterback for the Iowa State Cyclones. In her freshman season, she also showcased her skills during tryouts for the U.S. Collegiate National Football Team and the USA Women’s Football National Team. Brandt remained a key player for the Cyclones for three seasons, even embarking on a trip to Europe to compete against international teams.

However, in late 2020, Brandt made headlines when she announced her decision to transfer to the University of Northern Iowa. Taking to social media, she expressed gratitude for the “memories, challenges, and bonds” forged at Iowa State. Looking ahead, she eagerly anticipated joining the Panther family and contributing to their gridiron success.

In 2022, Brandt wrapped up her collegiate volleyball career, calling it a “dream come true to wear” the UNI jersey and thanking the university for the “life changing experience.”

She and Purdy made their relationship Instagram official in November 2022

While Brandt and Purdy had been seen together on social media during the summer of 2022, their relationship didn’t go public until November of that same year. Brandt took to her Instagram account to make it official, sharing a collection of photos depicting Purdy alongside her family, enjoying some downtime on a ranch.

Brandt captioned the slideshow, “my roots and my boy,” while Purdy chimed in the comment section to call Brandt “my girl.”

She’s been a big supporter of Purdy’s NFL career

As a fellow athlete, Brandt has been incredibly supportive of Purdy’s football career. She has been spotted at several 49ers games — including the 2024 Super Bowl in Las Vegas — completely decked out in team merchandise.

“Always cheering you on, babes,” Brandt captioned a photo on Instagram in October 2023 of her and Purdy hugging on the sidelines. In the comments, he replied: “My girl ❤️.”

She and Purdy got engaged in July 2023

Purdy proposed on a dock in Saint Cloud, Florida.

“My Jenna girl forever. I can’t wait to be your husband and grow together in Christ. Here’s to forever babe. I love you JB!” the quarterback captioned a series of engagement photos on Instagram.

In a separate Instagram post, Brandt wrote, “WE GET TO DO LIFE TOGETHER…FOREVER! Brock Purdy – I love everything about you & your heart for Jesus more than any words can say.”

The celebrating continued as the wedding got closer. In February 2024, Brandt shared photos from another party on her Instagram Story, where she posed in front of a balloon backdrop in a white dress. She reposted a photo from Purdy’s sister with a caption that said, “Mrs. Purdy in 3 weeks 💍.”
